Sales Manager | NEW TAILOR B2B
New Tailor is in the middle of a scale-up phase of its almost mature existence and is ready for further growth through the recruitment of new customers in the B2B channel (retailers with (latent) need for tailor-made clothing). The current team of 22 people lacks a Sales Manager with a winning mentality. Hence, you’ll play a crucial role in further growth.
A structured approach with impact on both the internal organization and the market can lead to major success. We are looking for a Sales Manager who has done this before and is looking for an extremely inspiring and out-of-the-box work environment to spread his or her wings. Sales is deeply anchored in your DNA and your high likeability factor enables you to introduce the strong New Tailor product to the market in an attractive way and to establish long-term relationships with appreciative customers. You will be part of the Management Team. Your principal place of business will be our office in Utrecht
What are you going to do?
- Positioning of New Tailor in the BtoB market, with a focus on acquiring new business;
- Mapping the market, building prospects, cashing in on deals and transferring them for daily relationship management and customer support to colleagues;
- Help current customers grow through targeted sales support;

Who are we?
NEW TAILOR and DECODE Tailoring have been successful as a tailor since 1997. We do everything with ownership, attention, style, hospitality and positivity. Our field of work is varied as we are active in retail, production and online. We make suits, jackets and shirts. In 2025 we will dress James Bond. The team currently consists of 22 people, 7 of which in our BtoB channel: Decode Tailoring. We are going to grow considerably in the coming years and can use some help!
Who are you?
New Tailor is happy to expand the team with an inspiring, pioneering and ambitious Sales Manager who knows his way around the world of B2B and preferably Retail. You are a builder, and both result and people oriented. You are able to open accounts, have the ambition and drive to build and you know how to inspire others. You have a strong winning mentality and you have a healthy dose of humour. You are an energetic inspiration and you show flexibility; you are willing to invest a lot of time and energy in this role, are open to change and are available for events. You are constantly looking for a connection within and outside the organization, you are a team builder and are focused on satisfied customers and the career and happiness of your colleagues.
What do we ask from you?

- At least 5 years of experience in a commercial responsible role within a B2B organization (preferably in Retail)
- A proven commercial track record, with extensive experience in acquiring new accounts;

- Passion, vision, strong discipline, delegation and the absolute will to achieve objectives are competencies that match;
